Do I need a new door?
Usually not. Most doors fail at the frame and the strike, not the slab. Reinforcing those with steel is what stops a kick-in.
Will it change how my door looks?
The reinforcement sits inside the frame and behind the trim. From the outside you see a better lock and nothing else.
How long does it take?

Roller shutters or window film: which do I need?
Shutters are the strongest option and a visible deterrent. Film keeps the look of the home and stops the quick smash-and-grab. Many homes do both: shutters on the vulnerable ground-floor and rear openings, film everywhere else. We tell you what makes sense at the assessment.
